Who can take part
Any household with a Trekosa account can refer a friend, using their code or a link from the app, which includes any walk they share. The friend must be new to Trekosa and join with that link or code. You can't refer yourself or another account of your own. Referrals are run by Trekosa Limited, company number 17446018, registered in England and Wales.
While founding places remain
The first 250 households to set up their dog, walk a route and check in have Trekosa Further free for good. There are 223 places left. A friend who does that while places remain takes one of them, whoever referred them, and that is the whole of the offer until the places are gone. When the last place is taken, the offer below applies to friends who join after that.
After the founding places have gone
Your friend gets a month of Further when they have joined, set up their dog and saved a walk. You get a month of Further when they save another walk on a later day. In short: two saved walks, on different days. Once they have settled in with Trekosa, you may get a month more as a thank-you.
If you are one of the first 250 households, you already have Further for good, so instead of earning time yourself your friend gets 2 months: theirs, and yours.
You can earn up to a year in any 365 days.
How the time is used
Time you earn goes on the end of the Further you already have, and starts by itself: you never have to choose to use it. If you pay for Further, your next payment moves back by the time you earned. On iPhone, Apple only lets us move a payment date twice in any 365 days, so time you earn in between waits and is added at the next chance; none of it is lost. If you stop paying while time is waiting, it runs straight after your subscription ends.
Time is never paid out as money or credit, can't be exchanged, and can't be moved to another account.
If the offer changes
We may change what each side gets, or what has to happen first. A friend keeps the terms that applied on the day they joined, and a change never takes away time you have already earned. This page always shows the current offer and the date it took effect.
Fake and duplicate accounts
Referrals are for real friends who will use Trekosa. We check for accounts made to collect time, such as several accounts on one phone, throwaway email addresses, or a run of sign-ups on one code. We may hold time for a check before it is added, and we may withdraw time that has not yet been used if it came from accounts like these. Time already used is never taken back. None of this affects your rights as a consumer.
