Press Offline on a walk before you set off. Its map, its line and every stile stay on your phone until you remove it, and if the signal drops, the map carries on by itself.
A quiet buzz if you drift off the path
Put your phone away and watch your dog. If you are well off the line for a few seconds, your phone buzzes once and says so. Nothing while you are on it, and never a voice.
The quickest way back to the start, whenever you want it
One tap from wherever you are and the quickest way back is drawn on the map, over the paths around you rather than back the way you came, with how far it is and how long it takes. For the day the dog has had enough before you have.

Where the way on is not clear, one buzz before you reach it and one line on your lock screen. Silent on the easy stretches, so a buzz always means something.

The first 250 households
The households who come first are the ones who shape it, so they have Further for good. A place is taken by your first walk: set up your dog, walk one route and tell us how it went. There is no card to give and nothing to remember to cancel.
Everything in Trekosa is free while we build. When Further opens, founding households have it already, across the whole of Great Britain, for as long as they have an account.

Questions
What stays free?
Finding walks in your home county that suit your dog, with every walk checked against the same public data. Keeping, drawing and sharing walks, getting to the start, your blue dot on the line, and telling other walkers what you found. That last one is never behind a subscription.
What counts as my home county?
The county you tell us is home, and it stays free for good. Further opens up the whole of Great Britain, and everything on the walk wherever you are, home included.
How do I get a founding place?
Create an account, tell us about your dog, then walk one route and check in from the walk. That walk takes the place, while places remain. You will not be asked for a card, and nothing has to be kept up afterwards.
What happens to walks I kept away from home if I stop Further?
They stay in your list with their names and lengths, and open again if you start Further again. Nothing you kept is deleted, and a walk you drew yourself stays open.
Can I buy Further on the website?
Not yet. Further is started in the Trekosa app, through the App Store or Google Play.
